A  SHORT HISTORY  OF WORLD EMPIRE
TRY YOUR HAND AT WORLD CONQUEST
In 1206 a tribal warlord called Temudjen completed one historical miracle, the union of the warring tribes of the Eastern Steppe to create the Mongol nation, before changing his name to Ghengis Khan (Lord of the Earth) in preparation for the second miracle of his eventful life. The creation of a world empire.
The son of a minor tribal leader Temudjens early life was one of hardship after the murder of his father. His family was forced into a life of banditry on the fringes of steppe society constantly hunted by his fathers enemies. Eventually Temudjen himself is captured and held as a bound serf in an enemy camp.
Starting from this low point Temudjen broke free and through a combination guile, intelligence, courage and a boundless will, he gradually drew together a band of other desperate men and began the long struggle to draw the disparate tribes of the Eastern steppe under his control.
